Spellbinders’ Christmas Cards
Hi crafty friends! I’ve been busy in my craft room creating a handful of festive Christmas Cards. A good friend of mine requested I make her cards this year, so I got to work and created six unique cards.
I created each card using products from Spellbinders monthly clubs from both October 2022 and 2021. The Spellbinders club kits come out monthly and include a small die set, a large die set, a matching stamp and die set, an embossing folder, a glimmer hot foil set, and a card making kit. Often these products coordinate with each other. The clubs are a great value!
To create the first card, I used the Oct 2022 Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month. I stamped the image and colored it in using my Prismacolor alcohol markers. I heat embossed the “Merry Christmas” sentiment using a very pretty sparkly red embossing powder from Creative Expressions called Ruby Slipper.
For the second card, I used the Clear Stamp of the Month from October 2021 and some scrap patterned paper. The snowflakes were inked using Altenew’s line of Crisp Dye Inks. I heat embossed the “Noel” sentiment with a pretty rose gold embossing powder from Gina K Designs.
The third card was made using Spellbinders Large Die of the Month from 2021. I used two colors of dark red paper to make the poinsettias and pretty gold paper for the leaves and accents.
My fourth card was created using the small die set that came in the October 2022 card kit of the month. I used some green glitter paper for the tree and shiny gold paper for the accents and star. The sentiment came from the October 2022 small die of the month club, and coordinated perfectly with the Christmas tree.
The fifth card was created using the October 2022 glimmer of the month club kit. I used some pretty red foil and coordinated it with red glitter paper. I created the sentiment using words from the October 2022 small die of the month.
I created my favorite card of the bunch using the October 2022 Large Die of the Month. This was my first attempt at stitching a card, and Spellbinders makes it just so simple! I think this card turned out lovely. I used some mint colored embroidery that matched the mint green embellishment on the ornament.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you are all having happy crafty days! Find your joy!
